Easter Egg Run 2009
The Easter egg run organised by T7 Honda is usually the first run of the year and as such there was approx 300 fresh faced bikers collected at Pennybridge industrial estate itching to get out for a decent spin. There was a burger van and a Mr Whippy on hand to keep all the hungry hounds fed and watered. It was great to see so many old friends and to get a chat with some new people. It was a perfect April day although by the time we got back to the show grounds the hot soup was a welcomed site. The only downside of the day was seeing the mountain of chocolate and not being able to eat any off it. My egg had to almost be prised out of my hands. The turn out went to show that although everyone is suffering from the credit crunch the biker community still gets out there to help raise money for charities and to help bring a smiles to peoples faces even if its only because they get a chocolate egg.
