1000 Bikes 500 Miles
This charity run was from Bangor - Balbriggan - Carrick on Shannon - Ballybofey - Ballymoney - Bangor and was to raise money for the Ireland Air Ambulance. The run went pretty well, a little confusion and piss poor weather but most really enjoyed their day and the challenge of the 500 miles. It was a great way to get into the run/rally season, now nowhere will seem too far and no day will seem too wet. We helped out with the marshaling as one of our members helped organize the event and from what we hear the riders that took part managed to raise over 20000 pounds for the charity which they should all be proud of, it was a huge amount.
